TerraLock is an environmentally friendly and very effective patented system that uses a geotextile bag and locking plate to create a wall structure with very high shear strength. This wall mass has the ability to move with the land. The geotextile bag allows the migration of water but not soil assisting with sediment control.
It is quite unique in that as well as being environmentally friendly, it is quicker, easier and cheaper to install than hardscaped alternatives and more resilient. It’s perfect for areas that are hard to access, can be temporary or permanent and has the ability to return to nature through planting out with natives, grasses, wild flowers or hydroseeding. TerraLock is safe for marine life, aqua culture and potable water supply.
